Chennai, Mahabalipuram, Trichy, Tanjore, Madurai, Periyar, Kochi

Tour Detail:

DAY 1 – Arrival Chennai

Arrive at Chennai airport and transfer to the hotel. Later proceed on a half-day sightseeing tour of Chennai covering St.  Thomas  Church,  Kapileshwar Temple, Fort St. George and drive past the Marina beach. Overnight stay at your hotel in Chennai.

DAY 2 – Chennai/Mahabalipuram (60 kms – 1 hr) /

Today,  after breakfast drive to  Mahabalipuram visiting Kanchipuram,  famous for its extraordinary collection of silk sarees and dress materials. Upon arrival check-in at hotel, in the afternoon continue sightseeing tour of Mahabalipuram. overnight stay at your hotel.

DAY 3  –  Mahabalipuram /Trichy (300 kms – 6 hrs)

After breakfast check-out from your hotel and drive to Trichy and check-in at your hotel. In the afternoon we proceed on a half-day city tour of Trichy covering Rock Fort temple and the Sri Ranganathaswamy temple. Overnight stay at your hotel in Trichy.

DAY 4 – Trichy/Tanjore (65 kms – 1 hr)

After breakfast we drive to Tanjore. In the afternoon we take you around the Thanjavur Palace, the Brihadishwara Temple, and Fort. Overnight stay at your hotel in Tanjore.

DAY 5  – Tanjore/Madurai  (200 kms – 5 hrs)

After leisure breakfast, drive to Madurai and check-in at the hotel and Overnight.

DAY 6  –  Madurai 

Full day sightseeing tour of Madurai,  visiting  Meenakshi Temple, Thirumalai Nayak Palace, and the Anglican cathedral. Evening witness the pooja ceremony at the Meenakshi Temple.  Overnight stay at your hotel in Madurai.

DAY 7- Madurai/Periyar (160kms – 4 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Periyar and check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon enjoy boat cruise at lake Periyar to see the wildlife. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 8- Periyar/ Kochi (Cochin) (160kms – 4 hrs)

After breakfast, Leave for Kochi (cochin) and en-route enjoy backwater cruise around Alleppy.. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. Evening witness the classical Kathakali dance show. Overnight stay at Hotel

DAY 9 – Kochi

After breakfast, visit Kochi city including Jewish synagogue, Mattancherry palace museum, and St. Francis church with Portuguese and Dutch influence. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 10 – Departure Kochi

After breakfast,  you can fly to Chennai or Mumbai for onward destination /back home.
