Ahmedabad, Vadodra, Bhavnagar, Gondal, Bhuj, Dasada, Modhera, Patan, Palanpur

Tour Detail:

Day 01       Arrival Ahmedabad

 Arrival Ahmedabad and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon, proceed with the sightseeing tour of  Ahemdabad  Dada Hari ni vav, & Sabarmati ashram. Overnight at the hotel.

 Day 02     Ahmedabad / Vadodra

 After breakfast drive to  Vadodara upon arrival check-in at the hotel and thereafter excursion to champaner (pavagarh) sites. Champaner became a UNESCO world heritage site in 2004. Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 03      Vadodara / Bhavnagar

After breakfast drive to Bhavnagar visiting Lothal: archaeological ruins of the 2400-1600 bc Indus valley citadel with dockyard acropolis, bead factory, and a site museum. On arrival check-in at the hotel.  Afternoon:  Sightseeing tour of Bhavnagar visiting Takhteshwar temple on a hilltop are interesting places to visit. Also worth seeing are the Nilam bagh palace.

Day 04    Bhavnagar

After breakfast full-day excursion to Palitana Jain Temples, One of the five sacred places for the followers of the Jain faith, Palitana is a conglomeration of temples on the Shetrunjay hill. Return to Bhavnagar.

Day 05   Bhavnagar/Gondal

After breakfast, drive from Bhavnagar to Gondal. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Afternoon: Sightseeing tour of Gondal: experience the pleasure of living like the royal guest of the maharaja at a stately home in the heart of Saurashtra, literally the land of a 100 kingdoms. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06    Gondal / Bhuj   (250 kms – 6-7 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Bhuj. Upon arrival check-in at hotel. Bhuj the princely state of  Jadeja rulers. The old walled city is the most important town in that area. The oldest museum in Gujarat is located in Bhuj, see Aiana mahal museum and palace museum. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07    Bhuj

 Full day excursion to various tribes in the Banni villages. (tribal villages). Banni area is famous for handicrafts like embroidery, patchwork, tie & dye fabrics, leather embroidery, and other handicraft. See village-like Brindriara, Juara, Hodko, Dumado & Dhordo. Thereafter return to Bhuj for overnight stay.

Day 08   Bhuj

Full day free to move around the Bhuj city.

Day 09   Bhuj /Dasada

After breakfast drive to Dasada. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel. In the evening explore the villages around. Overnight at hotel

Day 10   Dasada

 During the day you can enjoy jeep safari to little rann of kutch and the village safari around. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11   Dasada/ Palanpur

 After breakfast drive to Palanpur visiting Modehra,  Sun Temple, and  Patan city. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel.

 Day 12  Palanpur / Ahmedabad

 Drive to Ahemdabad visiting Sidhpur Enroute.. upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Evening free to relax. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 13          Ahmedabad Departure

 After breakfast sightseeing tour of Ahmedabad visiting Jumma Masjid, Siddi Sayyed Mosque, Swaminarayan temple. Later in the evening flight to Mumbai to connect international flight back home.
